These young North Carolinians are commonly known as Dreamers, or recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals policy.
As the policy reaches its tenth anniversary, more legal challenges are threatening DACA, leaving Dreamers and their advocates saying they feel frustrated and scared.”
