Miller calls for Biden impeachment due to ‘erratic’ conduct

According to this article on The Daily Eastern News, by Luke Taylor

“U.S. Congresswoman Mary Miller, the Republican representing Illinois District 15, has issued a statement calling for President Joe Biden to be impeached.

Miller said she is making these calls because the withdrawal of the American military from Afghanistan which Biden authorized was “poorly planned.”

She also referenced Biden’s immigration policies, attitude during presidency and decision to visit Delaware and Camp David in recent weeks as reasons for impeachment.

“Throughout this crisis, President Biden’s conduct and behavior has been erratic,” Miller said. “As Afghanistan fell to the Taliban and it became clear Americans were in harm’s way, President Biden went on vacation, first to Delaware, then to Camp David, where he disappeared as Kabul fell.”

Miller said that these reasons hold more weight than the reasons for which President Donald Trump was impeached in 2019 and 2021.”

According to this article on Fox News, by Matt Leach and Matt Wall

“YUMA, Ariz. – Illegal immigrants regularly use Uber to travel from the border to destinations within the interior of the United States, two drivers in the border town of Yuma, Arizona, told Fox News.

One driver said the riders confirmed to him that they were in the U.S. illegally. Another said he deduced their immigration status based on the circumstances, such as getting picked up with bags alongside large groups in remote locations near the border with destinations at hotels. Fox News granted both anonymity so they could speak freely.

“I just will get a notification of a pickup, head down to the location and there will be a group of 20 plus immigrants standing on the corner, waiting for Ubers,” one driver told Fox News. “It’s legit in the middle of nowhere.””

Analysis: Republicans see election opportunity in Biden border struggles

According to this article on Reuters, by Ted Hesson and Matt Spetalnick

“WASHINGTON, Dec 21 (Reuters) – The leading Republican vying to unseat an Arizona Democrat in a crucial U.S. Senate race next year gets heated when he talks about Democratic President Joe Biden’s “failed border policies,” occasionally throwing in expletives when decrying their alleged financial cost and what he says is the threat they pose to Americans.

The candidate, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, is betting the message will resonate with voters Republicans need to mobilize in the 2022 elections to change the balance of power in Congress.

“Immigration in and of itself is not a bad thing,” Brnovich, himself the son of immigrants from Montenegro and Croatia, said in an interview with Reuters. “But illegal immigration undermines the rule of law.”

Echoing some of the hard-line rhetoric of Republican former President Donald Trump, Brnovich supports the construction of a wall between the United States and Mexico and tougher immigration enforcement.”
