“The family members of more than a dozen people who died in 737 Max crashes are pushing a North Texas federal judge to reopen the case against Boeing because the deal with the federal government doesn’t hold the airplane maker accountable.

Lawyers for victims’ family members are scheduled to be in federal court in Fort Worth on Tuesday to ask U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor to scrap a deferred prosecution agreement because government prosecutors didn’t consult with victims. The renewed push comes more than a year after the Justice Department announced a $2.5 billion settlement with Boeing that shielded senior executives from prosecution.”
